Detailed Itinerary: 12-Day Ultimate Uganda & Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Day 1 – 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Samantha and Bob received a VIP welcome and were assisted through health screenings, immigration and baggage collection to their transfer vehicle. After arriving at The Boma Hotel, they received their Timeless Africa Safaris Welcome Pack and an e-ticket for BAR Aviation at the Boma Hotel. After a relaxed morning, the pair were collected and transfered to Entebbe Airport for their flight to Kihihi Airstrip whereafter they hopped onto a road transfer to Buhoma Lodge for a two-night stay. Day two featured an awe-inspiring gorilla trekking experience into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, led by experienced trackers who brought them within metres of a family of mountain gorillas. After an hour with these noble creatures, the couple headed back to Buhoma Lodge for a complimentary massage after their trek, then explored the surrounding Bwindi community.
